GET READY AS CHRISTOPHER MARTIN DROPS “BOASY”

Dancehall star Christopher Martin has announced his self-assured single, “Boasy.” Produced by Ce’Cile and Dale “Dizzle” Virgo, the track is the latest from his upcoming album.

“Boasy” bursts with the self-belief Martin is known for. Like his hit “I’m a Big Deal,” Martin encourages listeners to stay secure in themselves. “From you good at anything at all, you fi boasy!” he exclaims halfway through the silky track.

The song is all about self-confidence. “It’s knowing you are that person and need no one’s validation. When you do things that are worthy of showing off, don’t be afraid to show it. Always put your best foot forward. Never shy away from being great,” said Christopher Martin.

BOASY IS KNOWING THAT YOU NEED NO ONE’S VALIDATION

Producer Ce’Cile shared, “For this beat, we aimed for something slow, sexy, and smooth – something fresh. We had to get Chris on it because he’s Mr. Smooth, the King of Smoothness. ‘Boasy’ is typical Chris Martin in the best way: letting everyone rock, feel good, and be comfortable with who they are – being ‘boasy’ but not hype.”

2024 has been a stellar year for Martin. He won Best Male Vocalist at the IRAWMAs and made history at Penn Relays. Recently, he was nominated Male Reggae Artist of the Year at the Caribbean Music Awards.

“Boasy” joins “It’s Guaranteed,” featuring Bounty Killer and Busy Signal, as a prelude to Martin’s next album. This will be his third full-length project, following Big Deal and And Then, the latter of which topped the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.
