GET READY FOR ‘LESSONS OF LOVE’ A COLLABORATION FROM CHRISTOPHER ELLIS AND SILLY WALKS DISCOTHEQUE
Christopher Ellis, the son of rocksteady legend Alton Ellis, has collaborated with the German production duo Silly Walks Discotheque for the single “Lessons of Love.” The song beautifully captures the complexities of romantic relationships. Shot at Hope Gardens in Kingston, Jamaica, the music video perfectly captures the song’s authentic vibe, and the authenticity goes even deeper.
‘Lessons of Love’ is the first collaboration between Ellis and Silly Walks’ Oliver Schrader and Joscha Hoffmann. Christopher Ellis says, “This one here is different… real people, real situations, real hurdles. But it’s all love in the end!”
Silly Walks confessed, “We put our heart and soul into this project! This piece is a potential future classic that will stand the test of time.” They believe the song’s relatable lyrics and reggae vibes will resonate with many.
The track was recorded in Berlin by German reggae star Gentleman’s band, The Evolution, using only original equipment from the 1960s. It features the sax stylings of legendary Jamaican musician Dean Fraser.
This unique blend of classic reggae sounds and modern production gives the song an authentic vintage feel that reggae lovers will adore. Whether you’re a die-hard reggae fan or simply love a good love song, ‘Lessons of Love’ is a must-listen.
