ABOUT GEORGE DEKKER
George Dekker, born George Agard and the half-brother of hitmaker Desmond Dekker, rose to fame in the late ’60s as part of The Pioneers. The group achieved international success with hits, thanks to their deal with Trojan Records.
Beyond The Pioneers, Dekker also thrived as Johnny Melody, notably with the hit ‘Foey Man’. He collaborated with renowned producers like Leslie Kong, Bunny Lee, and Joe Gibbs throughout his career.

Boss Capone, also known as Boudewijn Van Trigt, is a key member, songwriter, and producer of The Upsessions, a Dutch early reggae band. With The Upsessions, he’s released five albums, including one featuring reggae legend Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. Since 2005, they’ve toured Europe and South America.
As Boss Capone, he released two solo albums prior to his latest project with Patsy. Patsy, aka Renske De Boer, gained recognition as the vocalist for ska group Mr Wallace and Dutch northern soul band The Originators.
Boss Capone and Patsy collaborated on their album during the lockdown, blending early reggae, rocksteady, and ska influences. With Boss Capone’s production expertise and Patsy’s dynamic vocals, the album reaches new heights.
