PATORANKING COLLABORATES WITH INTERNATIONAL STARS ON WORLD BEST ALBUM
Nigerian star Patoranking has earned the title “World Best” from his adoring fans, boasting over 500 million YouTube views, a quarter-billion DSP streams for his Three albums in 2020, and a staggering 8.8 million followers on Instagram.
His unique blend of afrobeat, dancehall, and reggae has solidified his reputation as a genre-bending artist. Patoranking’s love for galala, a native uptempo reggae-influenced music and dance, was sparked by the pulsating rhythms that filled his streets in the 1980s and 1990s.
His fourth studio album, World Best, is a stunningly modern culmination of this fusion of styles, driven by themes of love, life, and conscious lyricism.
Patoranking’s latest album, World Best, collaborates with renowned artists such as Ludacris, Beenie Man, and Popcaan. The album also showcases African talent, with Kizz Daniel, Diamond Platnumz, Victony, Gyakie, and Zion Foster contributing to the LP.
The album’s range of production is impressive, featuring both lush instrumentation and synthesised beats, thanks to an all-star cast of up-and-coming and well-known African producers like Phantom, Kel P, Killertunes, C-Tea, and Mix Master Garzy. The celebratory tone of the album is sure to captivate the audience.
In the last 12 months, Patoranking has been steadily releasing tracks from his album “World Best,” each a hit in its own right. “Kolo Kolo” ft. Diamond Platnumz, produced by Young Willis, has already garnered almost 30 million views on YouTube and won the Best East Meets West Collaboration award at the 2023 East Africa Arts Entertainment Awards (EAEA). “Abobi,” produced by Nigeria’s Kel P, followed with its full-bodied melodies, which were a hit among fans.
Patoranking also released “Higher” over the summer, a spiritual tune filled with cracking percussion sounds and soft glowing synth chords produced by Mix Master Garzy. And who can forget “Tonight” ft. Popcaan This Nigerian-Jamaican anthem, produced by DJ Breezy, already has over 2 million views on YouTube and is climbing Nigeria’s Top 100 chart.
It’s worth mentioning that DJ Breezy is the same producer responsible for Patoranking’s 2014 hit “My Woman, My Everything” ft. Wande Coal.

ABOUT PATORANKING
Patoranking is a well-known Nigerian musician celebrated for his Afro Dancehall and Reggae hits. Over the years, he has collaborated with many top artists, including Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Major Lazer, Buju Banton, Wande Coal, Diamond Platnumz, and Sauti Sol. His first major solo hit, “Girlie O,” was launched in 2014 and has since released two LPs, “God Over Everything” and “Wilmer.” He is also a judge on the reality TV show The Voice Nigeria and has established the ALU Patoranking Scholarship. In 2022, he received two awards at The Headies and was the leading performer at the Fifa World Cup official Fan Fest Stage.
