“COMO YO” BY PAOLO BALDINI DUBFILES FEAT. MELLOW MOOD PAYS HOMAGE TO LATIN AMERICA AND ITS PEOPLE.
Paolo Baldini DubFiles presents “Como Yo”, a single created in collaboration with Mellow Mood, which pays tribute to Latin America and its people.
The song was born during a Bogota live show, organised and performed within 24 hours. The spontaneous and natural improvisation by the artists, along with an overwhelming response from the crowd, led to the creation of the “Latam Riddim” – a UK-style “power dub” featuring all the hallmarks of Paolo Baldini DubFiles’ digital dub productions.
Following the live session, he created a soundtrack that celebrates the culture, mindset, and spirit of Latin Americans and their beautiful land.
ABOUT PAOLO BALDINI DUBFILES
Paolo Baldini, born in Pordenone, Italy, 1975 is a renowned Italian dubmaster and producer. He gained recognition in the Italian reggae scene with his first band, B.R. Stylers, known for their extensive use of electronics and UK-inspired sounds. Baldini later joined the Italian reggae band Africa Unite, producing two albums and creating THE DUB SYNC project with band leader Madaski. Baldini also produced three albums for the rock band Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti. In 2014, he launched his solo project, Paolo Baldini DubFiles, and has since collaborated with various artists, producing numerous albums on his label La Tempesta Dub. Baldini’s latest collaboration is with Dan I and Imperial Sound Army for the release of “Dolomites Rockers” in 2020.

ABOUT MELLOW MOOD
Mellow Mood is an Italian reggae band formed in Pordenone in 2005. The twin brothers Jacob and L.O. Garzia lead the band. They gained worldwide recognition with their single “Dance Inna Babylon – Remastered” and signed with Italy’s important independent label La Tempesta in 2012. The band released their second album “Well Well Well (Heart Over Mind Over Matter)” and twin albums “Twinz” and “2 the World” in 2014 and 2015. In 2018, they released their album “Large” via their independent label La Tempesta Dub and the dub take on the album, “Large Dub,” in the same year. The band released their new single “Mr. Global” with Jamaican artist Kabaka Pyramid on October 2nd, 2020.
