The work of UK multi-instrumentalist and producer Nick Headon, the ‘Dub Kitchen’ combines influences of 1970s ska, dub and punk with early hip-hop
Debut release ‘The Dub Return EP’ was released in June 2022, gaining positive feedback from both fans and the industry including being added to numerous playlists and receiving BBC radio airplay. Renowned producer Dubmatix said of the EP:
“HEAVY BASS WITH HYPNOTIC GROOVES MAKE FOR A STRONG DUB RELEASE – PUT THE HEADPHONES ON AND KICK BACK”
Remixes of US artist Seepie (‘I Know Dub’) and Germany’s PLANT BASED (‘Reasons Dub’) followed later in 2022, helping build the Dub Kitchen’s reputation across the globe after ‘The Dub Return EP’ was heard across over 50 countries on six continents.
