NAYA ROCKERS AND SISTER NANCY UNITE IN ‘TEACH THE YOUTHS’

Naya Rockers have teamed up with reggae legend Sister Nancy for their powerful new track, “Teach The Youths.” Known for her iconic 1982 hit “Bam Bam,” she remains a timeless voice in reggae. This new collaboration highlights the urgent need to educate and guide the next generation.

Rooted in Rastafari principles, Teach The Youths carries a strong message about nurturing young minds. The single is part of Naya Rockers’ upcoming Higher Education album, recorded across Iceland, New Jersey, and Jamaica, creating a vibrant and global reggae sound.

EDUCATION IS THE KEY, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND

Sister Nancy’s commanding voice and timeless lyrics shine on this track. Legendary musicians like Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith and Andy Bassford also contribute to the rich instrumentation. The song was produced by Nathan Sabanayagam, Naya Rockers’ founder, and mixed at Tuff Gong Studios by reggae veterans Stephen Stewart and Michael ‘Boxy’ Howell.

Working with Sister Nancy on this track has been a career highlight,” says Sabanayagam. This track is poised to become a standout in Naya Records’ collection, continuing reggae’s legacy of uplifting the youth.
