Cologne-based reggae band Memoria has a brand new EP out, What Goes Around, released in collaboration with Oneness Records.
Inspired by the popular saying, “what goes around, comes around,” the project explores the concept of Karma and advocates for tolerance, respect and loving-kindness.
The 6-track EP addresses the lack of education about the colonial history of European countries, the concealment of the cultural and historical wealth of the people and places that were colonized, and the oppression of working-class and low-income citizens everywhere.
This latest project stays true to Memoria’s musical mission to be socially and politically engaged while inspiring positivity, hope, and good vibes.
