INTRODUCING LUKIE D’S UPCOMING ALBUM WITH “RUMOURS” AS THE FIRST SINGLE

Lukie D, a gifted performer from Kingston, Jamaica, has always had a passion for singing. He’s now working on his upcoming album, which features “Rumours” as the first single. Lukie D’s musical vision board was inspired by his training as a teenager while living in the United States.

Throughout his career, he has travelled the world and performed for audiences far and wide. His enchanting voice has earned him recognition as one of Jamaica’s top vocalists, and he gained fame as a member of the group L.U.S.T.

ABOUT LUKIE D

Michael Kennedy, known as Lukie D, is a Jamaican singer who began his career performing on various local sound systems. His popularity led to recording sessions that produced his biggest hit, ‘Centre Of Attraction’, alongside combination hits with Lieutenant Stitchie and Beenie Man and Black Pearl. He joined the Firehouse Crew and released a series of hits, including ‘I Won’t Let You Go’, ‘Lonely Nights’, ‘Let Me Love You Now’, ‘Heavy Load’ and ‘You’ve Got It Going’. He also released a 20-track compilation featuring versions of AC/DC’s ‘You Shook Me’ and Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’. In addition to his solo career, he joined the vocal group L.U.S.T. in 1998 for a short period of time.
