L.A.B BRINGS THEIR UNIQUE SOUL, FUNK, AND REGGAE-INSPIRED SOUND TO ’80S CLASSIC – CASANOVA

L.A.B return with their first new music for 2023, the single ‘Casanova’. The track is the second single from their upcoming sixth album. The band will be performing in Europe for the first time in October, with a sold-out show in Amsterdam and tickets for their only London show selling fast.

In their version of LeVert’s late ’80s classic, L.A.B brings their unique soul, funk, and reggae-inspired sound, incorporating their trademark harmonies and soulful vibe, gaining a growing worldwide audience with each release. ‘Casanova’ is a feel-good song and is another tease of the band’s highly anticipated new album. Although the year has been unusually quiet with releases, L.A.B have been busy performing sold-out tours across New Zealand, Australia, and the United States while working on new music. After this release, the band will head to Australia for two festivals before debuting at the iconic Paradiso in Amsterdam and the UK’s O2 Forum in Kentish Town, London.

L.A.B made history by winning Best Group, Best Song, Best Album and Best Roots Artist two years in a row at the New Zealand Music Awards. They won Best Record at the 2022 Rolling Stone Awards and the 2023 Rolling Stone Awards for Best Single (‘Take It Away’) & the Rolling Stone Global Award.

2023 has seen L.A.B tour the USA, the Pacific and Europe. With a new album, L.A.B VI due in February 2024, L.A.B continue attracting new fans on a global scale.
