KHALIA’S “HIGH” IS AN EXCITING COLLABORATION WITH COLLIE BUDDZ
Khalia’s latest single, “High”, is an exciting collaboration with Reggae heavyweight Collie Buddz.
The song has already gained significant attention, featuring on three Spotify Editorial Playlists. Khalia is a Jamaican artist whose upbringing in London and Jamaica influenced her sound.
“High” is part of the “Cali Roots Riddim” album, set to release on June 30th, 2023. This album is a collaborative effort between the California Roots Festival, Ineffable Records, and Collie Buddz.
The project features contributions from some of the biggest names in Reggae music from around the world, such as SOJA, Anthony B, Dispatch, Busy Signal, Fiji, J Boog & The Green, Gondwana, Luciano, The Expendables, and many more.
Fans of Reggae music are in for a treat with the upcoming release of the “Cali Roots Riddim” album. With such a diverse range of artists contributing their unique styles and interpretations to the riddim produced by Collie Buddz, there will surely be something for everyone to enjoy.

Khalia, born in Jamaica and raised in London, found her way back home by following her passion for music. As the first signed artist of K-Licious Music, owned by Grammy award-winning producer Tony “CD” Kelly, she has managed to captivate reggae fans globally with her versatility. Khalia’s unique vocal style and edgy song concepts, exemplified in tracks such as “One Dance,” “Wild Fire,” and “Easy,” have been praised as a breath of fresh air.

ABOUT COLLIE BUDDZ
Collie Buddz is a dancehall singer born in New Orleans and raised in Bermuda, where he was exposed to dancehall, soca, and hip-hop through his DJ brother. His demo track “Come Around” gained popularity in Europe and topped charts in the U.K. before becoming a hit in Jamaica. His unauthorised remix by rapper Busta Rhymes increased the track’s presence on American radio. Buddz’s relationship with Columbia Records began with guest vocals on a remix of Beyonce’s “Ring the Alarm.” He released his self-titled debut album in 2007, followed by the free download EP Playback in 2011. In 2014, he released the singles “Light It Up”, “Yesterday”, and “Prescription” in 2015. Buddz returned in 2017 with his second album, Good Life, featuring guest appearances from Jody Highroller, P-Lo, and Kat Dahlia. Two years later, he released his third, self-produced album, Hybrid.
