GUS WALKER SENDS A MESSAGE WITH HIS NEW TRACK ‘GAZING’, A REFLECTION ON ONE’S PURPOSE IN THIS WORLD.
Gus Walker‘s Gazing is his second single and embodies a warm and deep reggae groove with catchy vocals and guitar melodies.
It speaks about the journey of life and contemplations to search for your place in society. Gazing speaks about the importance of taking time to just think, reflect and ultimately be in the moment without distraction.
Gus wrote this track while relaxing on the beach after a few hours of gazing and made the demo in his studio shortly after. Later, Boudewijn Pleij fully produced the track, with the support of a fantastic horn section by Lauran Neerincx, Isaac “IHAKA” McCluskey, and Paul van de Calseijde.
THE MESSAGE OF THE TRACK IS A REFLECTION ON ONE’S PURPOSE IN THIS WORLD.
Drums played by Arjen Grimmius were later recorded at E-Sound studios and the finishing touch of this track is the heartfelt guitar solo by David van den Beld. The beautiful artwork for Gazing is made by Ember van der Lee. Gazing is the last song Gus and Boudewijn recorded during the process of creating their album Pink Skies, which is set for release later this year.
