Grammy-nominated ETANA steps up with the next release from the highly anticipated Nina Simone tribute album, produced by Stephen Marley.
“Young, Gifted & Black” already has a rich reggae history having being covered by Bob Andy & Marcia Griffiths and peaking at number 5 on the UK Charts in 1970 and staying on the chart for twelve weeks.
The song seems particularly pertinent in the times we are currently living in, and with this new 2022 re-take on a classic, plus the Grammy-nominated status of Etana, this track is set to lead into the full EP project with some aplomb.
