BLACKOUT JA & LIONDUB – SOUND MURDARA (FT. RICKY T) KEEP ON RISING LP
The musical duo Blackout JA and Liondub, who now go by “Blacklion Movements,” have recently released a new single from their “Keep On Rising” LP. The song “Sound Murdara” is a beautiful blend of old and new, featuring Blackout’s lyrical flow that pays homage to the golden era of Jamaican dancehall.
The song is laid over Liondub and Ricky T’s modern version of the widely known “Boops Riddim.” The tune is a dubplate style sound clash that touches on the timeless classics of Buju Banton‘s “No Respect” and Al Campbell’s “Turn Me Loose.”
