Roots reggae and dub star Alborosie has dropped his latest single, ‘Faith,’ featuring the sensational rising artist Jaz Elise. The song is part of his highly anticipated ninth studio album, ‘Destiny.’

‘Faith’, also produced by Alborosie, is a soulful, bass-driven track about the importance of faith in both good and bad times. Making the distinction that faith is not religion, Jaz Elise emphasises that faith can “Lock every street and bruk down every gate”. The single’s powerful message is available in three different mixes: album, extended, and dub.

‘Destiny‘ is a collaboration-heavy album that features some of the biggest names in reggae, including Kabaka Pyramid, Buju Banton, Jaz Elise, and Burro Banton. It explores themes of faith, life, love, and the power of music.

Alborosie shares that his music is relatable: “I cannot make music that reflects the non-relevant. My reggae should relate to the present”.
