KINGSTON TO CALIFORNIA: RIK JAM & ERIC RACHMANY CONNECT THROUGH ‘STEREO’

Rik Jam steps confidently into a broader aesthetic with Stereo, his spirited collaboration with Eric Rachmany, lead singer of American reggae heavyweights Rebelution. Produced by Phillip McFarlane, the track rides a warm groove that folds Jamaican roots into Californian reggae vibes. Its accompanying video, filmed between California and Jamaica, underscores the song’s border-crossing intent.

Stereo arrives as the fifth single from Rik Jam’s much-anticipated debut album, The Genesis, due out on Irie Yutes Tapes. This album is a carefully constructed narrative of growth.

STEREO STITCHES KINGSTON’S ROOTS INTO CALIFORNIA’S WIDE-OPEN REGGAE LANDSCAPE

Collaborations with Rachmany, Taye Louise, Dalwayne, and MediSun punctuate a tracklist where dubwise textures meet sharp, contemporary production. Pieces like Journey, Caution, and Cry Blood showcase Rik’s evolving work.

Speaking about his approach, Rik Jam says, “From early on in my music career I purposed myself to sing clean, positive lyrics as such music help to keep one focused and give you a positive energy. Music is like a gateway to my happiness.” The Genesis promises to carry that vision forward.
