Clint Warren and Nick Sefakis twist the one-drop cut ‘P.N.W. Dub’. Reggae Tastemaker

CLINT WARREN AND NICK SEFAKIS TWIST THE ONE-DROP CUT ON P.N.W. DUB

Clint Warren links up with Nick Sefakis, ex-Iya Terra producer and vocalist, for a dose of sonic mischief. Their cut, P.N.W. Dub, is a spaced-out slice of reggae theatre that blurs satire, psychedelia and roots tradition. Symphonic Distribution handles the release.

Framed as a reggae comedic anthem, P.N.W. Dub celebrates life in the Pacific Northwest, where psilocybin mushrooms have recently been legalised. Heavy basslines anchor the track while one-drop percussion keeps it grounded.

Psychedelic guitar riffs swirl above echoing keyboards and ethereal sound effects, pushing the whole thing into a head-nodding hallucination. Warren’s baritone glides steady through the mist, while Sefakis’ production pulls the listener into a warped Pacific dreamscape.

The story? A mailman on mushrooms. Straight-edge, but mad for “Silly Simon”—his pet name for psilocybin. His route dissolves into luminous trees, singing skies and forgotten parcels.

WARREN’S BARITONE GLIDES STEADY, WHILE SEFAKIS’ PRODUCTION PULLS US INTO A PACIFIC DREAMSCAPE

Eventually, even time unravels. One moment he’s floating, the next he’s shouting at dogs and hurling packages. And that hot girl walking beside him? Turns out she’s been there all along. He just… forgot.

More than a quirky tale, P.N.W. Dub is a disorienting nod to altered states, local culture and modern absurdity. Warren and Sefakis have built a dub track that laughs at itself while warping expectations—equal parts roots experiment and surrealism.
