ABOUT RAS TEWELDE
Ras Tewelde crafts spiritually charged reggae, shaped by years of deep study and global collaboration. Born in Italy, he began performing at the age of 14 and later travelled through Ethiopia and Jamaica, recording with icons such as Sly and Robbie and Lutan Fyah.
His 2011 album One Way Ticket set the pace, featuring legends such as Sugar Minott. While preparing a heavyweight follow-up, he also contributes as a scholar exploring Rastafari language, culture and expression worldwide.

The Right Stuff brings heavyweight rub-a-dub energy with a modern twist. Rooted in 1980s Jamaican sounds, the Italian collective fuses vintage rhythm with today’s edge. Their debut Rub a Dub Warriors dropped in 2021, followed by two all-star riddim albums featuring voices like Awa Fall and Linval Thompson.
Whether producing or backing legends, they move with precision, pushing reggae forward while holding tight to its rebel foundations.
