ABOUT KING JAMMY
King Jammy reshaped reggae with bold, effects-driven mixes and groundbreaking production. Rising from King Tubby’s studio, he helped launch Jamaica’s digital era with Wayne Smith’s Sleng Teng in 1985.
Decades later, he’s still pushing boundaries, crafting hits with artists like Alborosie and Sizzla. With nearly 50 years of innovation behind him, he remains a force in reggae. He’s now building a King Jammy museum to preserve his legacy for future generations.
