CHANT: A TRANSFORMATIVE ANTHEM FROM DERAJAH AND MYSTIC FIRM
Jamaican roots warrior Derajah teams up with Mystic Firm to deliver Chant—a hypnotic call to arms wrapped in heavy bass and spiritual defiance. Every drumbeat pulses with resistance, while Derajah’s voice carries the weight of generations fighting for justice.
Lyrically, Chant is sharp and unwavering. Derajah cuts through the noise, denouncing corruption and oppression with unshakable conviction. Yet, there’s light in the fire—his message is one of perseverance, strength, and unwavering hope. The energy is raw, the delivery urgent and the impact undeniable.
Mystic Firm amplifies this rebel cry with a set of striking remixes, including a fiery take featuring Stranjah Miller. Each version builds on the original’s power, pushing its message even further.
Chant cements Derajah’s place as a torchbearer for roots reggae’s revolutionary spirit. It’s a timeless anthem, a rhythmic protest, and a reminder that the fight for truth never fades.
