“PROPPA GHANDA” blends the Juno award-winning Banx & Ranx’s energetic ECM (Electronic Caribbean Music) sound with King Cruff’s thoughtful lyrics.

King Cruff explains, “Banx & Ranx and I share a love for Caribbean music. Our collaboration is a homage to that sound.” The song’s lyrics reflect the uncertainty of the pandemic, urging listeners to question everything.

OUR COLLABORATION IS A HOMAGE TO THAT CARIBBEAN SOUND

Banx & Ranx added, “We created this song during our first session with King Cruff. We were inspired by his unique songwriting style.” They combined funk rhythms, disco grooves, electronic elements, and heavy basslines to complement Cruff’s deep lyrics.

King Cruff’s music often explores duality, contrasting vibrant rhythms with narrative depth. “PROPPA GHANDA” follows his dancehall/reggae track “Fallback” with Runkus, which was featured as one of Billboard’s Reggae/Dancehall Fresh Picks of the Month.

In 2024 alone, King Cruff has released four singles, including “Toronto Condo Girls” and “Lingo” with Solo YT.
