Mariam Koné is a Malian singer and music teacher who is part of Les Amazones d’Afrique. She studied music at the Bamako Conservatory and released her first solo album, Dakan, in 2013. It has a traditional African pop style with dub influences and electric instrumentation and was produced by Liam Farrell.
