The Emergence of Kapri100Mill: A Rising Dancehall Star from Kingston, Jamaica
Young and full of talent, Kapri100Mill (aka Dwayne Wallace) has established himself as one of the freshest faces in the new wave of dancehall music.
Born and raised in the Pembroke Hall community in Kingston, Kapri100Mill grew up as the youngest of seven siblings, which was no easy feat, but his tight-knit family made it a bit easier.
Kapri100Mill always had a deep passion for music, which he began to share with family and friends, gaining confidence and exposure. His friend, Sean ‘Seanizzle‘ Reid, recognized Kapri’s talent and encouraged him to pursue a music career.
Kapri took Seanizzle’s advice and started performing at various concerts and stage shows, impressing the crowds with his skills and gaining valuable experience.
Two years later, Seanizzle and Kapri reunited, and Seanizzle invited Kapri to his studio. There, Kapri recorded his significant single, “Dear Mama,” produced by Seanizzle and featured on the Creeper Riddim.
The song received daily rotations on popular Jamaican radio stations and made Kapri a household name in the country. “Dear Mama” was also featured on Chris Goldfinger’s UK Chart and received significant airplay in the Cayman Islands and on mix CDs worldwide.
Seanizzle is confident that Kapri’s music career will go beyond the international level, and he plans to help develop Kapri as an entertainer and brand. Kapri has shown great promise as a young artist with his smooth flow, lyrics, and hard work.
He is the epitome of talent, determination, and a person with an unchained mind, always ready to take on new challenges and exceed expectations.
