MACKA B AND JAZZWAD TEAM UP FOR JAH SHAKA TRIBUTE
The story behind the song is that Macka B was working on a project with Jazzwad, and one of the tracks was a tribute to Jah Shaka, written while he was alive and intended to be a living tribute. Sadly Jah Shaka passed away before their song was finished. Jazzwad and Macka B decided to complete the piece posthumously as a tribute to Jah Shaka.
Jazzwad produced and performed all instruments on the track. The single was mixed at Mixing Lab, Kingston, Jamaica and was engineered by Michael Williamson (Studio 2000).

Producer and musician, Jazzwad hails from West London, UK. He gained experience at King Jammy’s Studio in Waterhouse, Kingston, Jamaica, before launching his label, Jazzwad Muzic. His impressive musical career includes multiple Grammy Awards, most notably for his work on Damian Marley‘s “Welcome to Jamrock” and Shabba Ranks’ “Xtra Naked” albums.
Jazzwad has collaborated with renowned artists, including Bounty Killer, Garnett Silk, Buju Banton, Maxi Priest, Aswad, Digital B, Sizzla, Morgan Heritage, and Stonebwoy.
