Reggae artist Torch – got his name from legendary performer and promoter Tony Rebel. In the funky love song, titled All Alone, Torch recounts the day he met his love interest, detailing every moment from the very first time their eyes met.
While other artists may choose to stay in their lane, The Trench Town lyricist, who says he absolutely loves to sing, is appreciative of the chance to show his fans that he is indeed versatile. Said opportunity came when he was introduced to Big Feet Records‘ CEO and owner Josh Harris.
The rhythm, which Torch describes as: “so good it took 30 minutes to finish writing,” was built by Santa Davis on drums, Mark Sims on bass guitar, Jallanzo on lead guitar, and Josh Harris on both bass and keyboard. Mixing engineers were Umberto Echo and Tommi Tikkenen, and it was mastered by Earle Holder. Needless to say Torch not only did the lead vocals but he also did all the harmonies. The song’s artwork was designed by Georgia Tann Studios.
