Reggae Tastemaker is an independent online publication exploring reggae music from around the world.
We connect listeners with new releases and the artists behind them, bringing emerging voices and established names into the same conversation. Our coverage follows reggae’s Jamaican roots and its continuing life across countries, communities and generations.
What we cover
Explore new singles, albums, EPs and riddims, alongside artist stories and books and films about reggae culture. Listening links help readers move from a story to the music itself.
Our editorial approach
Features draw on the released music, artist background and information supplied by artists and their teams. Artist quotations are attributed, and release and listening links are included where available. Editorial selection is independent.
Submitting music is free, and selected editorial coverage is free. Submission does not guarantee publication. A strong recording and a real story matter more than a polished press pack.
For artists and their teams
New and established artists are welcome to submit a published release for consideration. Start with a public listening link, the artist and release names, contact details, a social profile and a few sentences about the song. A formal press release is optional. Please send listening links rather than audio files.
Corrections, credits and contact
If a feature contains a factual error, an incorrect credit or a broken link, email [email protected] with the article URL, the detail that needs attention and a supporting source where available. Use the same address for editorial questions and feedback.
