LOVE WHO LOVES YOU BACK: JAH DECKO ALBUM FINDS GLOBAL FREQUENCY
Netherlands-based artist Jah Decko steps into fresh territory with the release of Love Who Loves You Back, his first album entirely in English. After more than two decades shaping his craft, the project signals a deliberate reach toward a wider global audience.
Bringing a rich Surinamese heritage to the mix, Jah Decko anchors the project in pure organic reggae energy. Rich, live instrumentation animates the entire record, delivering the raw warmth and depth essential to true roots music.
Across the collection, including two immersive dub versions, he brings distinct styles of roots, lovers, and conscious reggae together into one smooth listening experience.
SIMPLE TRUTH TRANSFORMED INTO A STRIKING COLLECTION
The album cuts straight to the heart, tackling love, spirituality, identity, and the daily grind. Crucially, Jah Decko knows when to step back and let the music talk. On several cuts, he pares down his vocals, giving riddims and melodies space to drive their message home.
At its core, the project is a reminder to invest our love and energy in those who genuinely return those feelings. A reflection that Jah Decko transforms into songs filled with spirituality, positivity and sensitivity. The album transforms that simple truth into a striking collection that hits deep and lingers long after the last note.
