Ky-Mani Marley fuses reggae lineage with hip-hop edge. His 1996 debut, Like Father Like Son, introduced an innovator. Many More Roads (2001) earned a Grammy nomination. He collaborated with Pras on Avenues and toured with Van Halen in 2007.

Spragga Benz commands dancehall with raw street energy and crossover ambition. The Kingston deejay broke through in the early ’90s with Love Mi Gun and Jack It Up (1994).
