WICKED DUB DIVISION: REWRITING THE RULES AFTER TWO DECADES
Roble Records has released Jazz My Dub, a bold album uniting two seemingly incompatible forces. Wicked Dub Division, Italy’s pioneering dub collective, joins Francesco Bearzatti, a visionary saxophonist commanding respect across international jazz circles. The album arrives via streaming and vinyl LP.
This collaboration’s inspired pairing emerged during winter 2024. What began as experimental live performances evolved into recording sessions throughout 2025. Each track captures pure improvisation.
Bearzatti’s adventurous approach freed Wicked Dub Division from convention. Together they crafted a radical sonic vocabulary. The music thrives on spontaneity and instinct.
JAZZ AND DUB SHARE COMMON DNA, BOTH DEMANDING EXPLORATION
In fact, the album showcases one of Europe’s most versatile saxophonists conversing with four offbeat-music alchemists. Their shared creative space pulses with exchange and freedom. Experimentation drives everything.

Jazz and dub share common DNA: both genres demand exploration. Jazz My Dub proves this through the quartet’s reimagined compositions. Bearzatti breaks down familiar material, then rebuilds it into something unexpected. His contributions reveal hidden depths.
The result? A sonic journey where boundaries dissolve. This remarkable collaboration demonstrates how musical worlds can unite to create something genuinely transformative.
