DEVOTION MEETS DESTINY: MADELAINE AND LUCIANO UNITE ON ‘RISE’
Thirty years of fandom culminated in something extraordinary. Italian singer Madelaine has finally joined forces with Jamaican reggae icon Luciano on Rise, a soulful roots anthem that bridges generations and honours tradition.
The stars aligned at Rebel Salute, Jamaica’s annual roots reggae and dancehall music festival, where Madelaine seized her moment. She pitched the collaboration to Luciano, and the legendary artist said yes. What began as Luciano’s solo composition, penned entirely by him, evolved into a genuine partnership, with Madelaine’s voice weaving through the track’s meditative grooves.
They recorded at Harry J Studio, where reggae history echoes from every corner. The riddim came from Madelaine’s sessions at Tuff Gong, adding layers of authenticity. Both artists share a message: gratitude for life and positivity in the face of adversity.

Rise arrives on 7-inch vinyl and digital platforms, accompanied by a dub version. The patience paid off, the respect runs deep, and reggae’s spiritual core pulses through every bar.
With an album expected in March 2026 and another single dropping early next year, Madelaine’s journey from devoted fan to Luciano’s collaborator marks a thrilling chapter in her evolving story.
